Warmth, wind, showers chance continue Sunday in Metro Detroit
It has been a warm and windy day.
TONIGHT:
It will be mostly cloudy and breezy. A couple of stray showers will be possible across the area. The chance of rain will increase near Saginaw. Lows will be in the lower 60s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
TOMORROW (SUNDAY):
It will be mostly cloudy with the chance of a few showers and scattered thunderstorms. Showers will be most widespread in the morning as they move toward the northeast. In the afternoon, clouds will give way to sunshine in Ann Arbor and Detroit. Clouds will be thicker north of M-59. The chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be greater from I-69 and northward. Highs will be in the upper 70s to 80 degrees. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 18 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
TOMORROW NIGHT:
The chance of showers will increase during the evening and nighttime hours. Lows will be around 60 degrees.
WORKWEEK:
The warm, wet weather will continue into the workweek. Highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees on Monday, mid 70s for Tuesday and Wednesday, back to upper 70s for Thursday, and upper 60s and lower 70s on Friday. Showers chances will last for much of the week, but we will have a better chance of dry conditions for Tuesday and Wednesday.
